JENNIFER REMINGTON NÜSSLEIN
Psychological Psychotherapist
Nice to meet you.
Recognizing the immense courage it takes to begin therapy, it is very important to me to meet you in a respectful, open-minded, and authentic manner. I believe that the most important prerequisite for effective therapy is sense of safety and feeling understood. I will support you in creating long-term positive changes by helping you gain a deep understanding of your personal development, confront vulnerable emotions, connect with your strengths, and develop more helpful thinking and behavior patterns.
I was raised by an American father and a German mother who helped me strengthen my bilingual and bicultural identity. They helped shape my ability to embrace an openness, curiosity, and sensitivity to cultures that differ from my own.

The foundation of my therapeutic work is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), a scientifically recognized and effective approach that posits that our thoughts and feelings influence our behavior. To address your individual needs and provide optimal support, I adopt an integrative approach, often incorporating creative elements from Systemic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy. Throughout the counseling and treatment process, I prefer to work in an emotion-focused, resource-oriented, and solution-focused manner.

I am happy to offer psychotherapy in English.
